We bought a lame. Our sheep had a baby named Glory-of-the-Snows. Our goat had babies too Pine, Strawberry and Clover. Pine is a boy, Strawberry and Clover are girls. We got a lamb named pompom.

We made ham. It was so good that it ruined my taste for store-bought ham. Our sheep is going to have a baby. We rode on a barrel in the water-filled ditch. Our goat is going to have a baby, too.

We made some sausages in our own kitchen . We had to get more hay .

(Mom’s note: we slaughtered some pigs for the making of these sausages.)
Sorry that I didn’t get to write last week, I was sick. The goats got an old Christmas tree, but they would not eat it. We slaughtered some pigs. We got a coat for Phantom (goat). We will soon be selling pork. The ducks are laying well. I had appendicitis and went up to the hospital in Halifax this week.

Today it rained and was very windy and the goats got very scared. We are planning to kill and eat some pigs.
These pictures are from the summer.

Today our driveway got very icy. Our goat got very cold. We killed some of our ducks. Monica and I gutted them. Monica and I also made cookies.

Today it snowed and snowed. I barely got to write a post, because I had to do school. Then I had to do the farm chores. But I got it done. The good news is I passed swimming lessons. I had to give a hay bale to the goats.

I am Mary chandler. I live on Chandler Family Farm. I am 9 years old. I will be writing a post every Friday. Today I dropped a hay bale on the fence. Then my bike broke and I had to run home. We also bred our doe goat and ewe.
